The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Barra McGlynn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bret McGlenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Bevan Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballybane's supporters rose to their feet, but Bevan Kirby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beagan Dillon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Scothine Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beagan Dillon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bevan Kirby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bevan Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Babe McTom notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Rylane Utd's Beagan Dillon. Beagan Dillon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Babe McTom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After a rather tough play, Rylane Utd's Keefe Frankson got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Rylane Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Lewis Cassin came free, but Beagan Dillon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rylane Utd's Beagan Dillon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babe McTom in the 57th minute of play. Bevan Kirby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Beagan Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beagan Dillon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bevan Kirby in the 64th minute of play. Bevan Kirby took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Beagan Dillon. Beagan Dillon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After having played for 69 minutes, Bevan Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballybane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bevan Kirby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Breannain Todd's late challenge caught a Rylane Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Breannain Todd helped the player get up and apologised. Breannain Todd hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ballybane's Bearnard Holt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bret McGlenn in the 73rd minute of play. Bevan Kirby received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Beagan Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bret McGlenn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bearnard Holt having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Bevan Kirby notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Rylane Utd's Beagan Dillon. Beagan Dillon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 94 minutes into the match, Bevan Kirby had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beagan Dillon. Rylane Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bevan Kirby was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. When the referee ended the match the Ballybane players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
