Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bret McGlenn made the kick off which started today's match. Baoithin McJohnny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 4th minute Bret McGlenn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayes Sheridan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bret McGlenn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 16 minutes, Baoithin McJohnny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barnadarrig's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baoithin McJohnny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 17th minute Shea McFrancise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beagan Dillon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Bricin Byrne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rylane Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barnadarrig the free kick. Bricin Byrne hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Phillip McGlenn hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Rylane Utd's Beagan Dillon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baoithin McJohnny in the 26th minute of play. Baoithin McJohnny struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Beagan Dillon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barnadarrig. The supporters of Barnadarrig booed when Rylane Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harrigan McSteven didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Breed McLaughlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scothine Gallagher who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Hayes Sheridan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Barnadarrig's Donn Gough in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rylane Utd's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Reilley Hutton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barnadarrig's supporters rose to their feet, but Reilley Hutton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beagan Dillon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Biviti McWilliam during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes Rylane Utd got a freekick which was hit by Biviti McWilliam. In the 42nd minute of the match Barnadarrig got a corner. Rylane Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Donn Gough ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Donn Gough almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rylane Utd's Beagan Dillon did a great save. Baoithin McJohnny might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Beagan Dillon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baoithin McJohnny ran back to his position shaking his head. Shea McFrancise struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Beagan Dillon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barnadarrig. Beagan Dillon came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Barnadarrig's Donn Gough. But to his dismay, Donn Gough quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donn Gough was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Rylane Utd got a freekick which was hit by Keefe Frankson. The Barnadarrig fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Barnadarrig's Donn Gough looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Rylane Utd's Harrigan McSteven got a free kick in the 56th minute. Donn Gough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Beagan Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beagan Dillon made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Baoithin McJohnny sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Donn Gough fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Beagan Dillon, passed just outside the right post. After 68 played minutes Donn Gough rounded Rylane Utd's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Hayes Sheridan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biviti McWilliam, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Hayes Sheridan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bret McGlenn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hayes Sheridan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Scothine Gallagher in the 77th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Baoithin McJohnny lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Beagan Dillon. Shea McFrancise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Beagan Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beagan Dillon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donn Gough in the 86th minute of the match. Shea McFrancise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 89 minutes into the game, Reilley Hutton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Beagan Dillon. Reilley Hutton showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Barnadarrig's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
