Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aengus McDonald kicked off to start the match. Blamhac Quinnless hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Brett McAlphie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Portlaw AFC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Harold McIan hit a great ball. Bel Lester kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Blamhac Quinnless kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Trien McSteve. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shiel Quinnless during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Shiel Quinnless hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Brion McPhil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Trien McSteve. Rabbitburrow AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Aengus McDonald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brendon McBjarton was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Ryleigh McWill kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Gerard Dillon shot from long distance in the 22nd minute, but Trien McSteve was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Coran Benson's late challenge caught a Portlaw AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Coran Benson helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rabbitburrow AFC! Gerard Dillon shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After having played for 31 minutes, Brett McAlphie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rabbitburrow AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brett McAlphie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raonall Cronin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Brendon McBjarton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harold McIan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trien McSteve having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Rabbitburrow AFC got a freekick which was hit by Coran Benson. Blamhac Quinnless charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Blamhac Quinnless the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Portlaw AFC's Blamhac Quinnless got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blamhac Quinnless stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Rabbitburrow AFC's Brett McAlphie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brendon McBjarton. Brendon McBjarton yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Brett McAlphie struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Brendon McBjarton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rabbitburrow AFC. Brion McPhil hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After 75 played minutes Rabbitburrow AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ryleigh McWill. If Blamhac Quinnless had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trien McSteve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harold McIan in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Rabbitburrow AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Harold McIan came free, but Trien McSteve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Harold McIan in the 84th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Trien McSteve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blamhac Quinnless, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 91 minutes, Brett McAlphie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rabbitburrow AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brett McAlphie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Brett McAlphie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Portlaw AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Brett McAlphie fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rabbitburrow AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Portlaw AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
