Breannain Hunt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Britain Cassin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gortgar's Breck Gallagher got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Breannain Hunt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bras Harkin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Breck Gallagher put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bras Harkin. Begley Brennan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Britain Cassin in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Gortgar's goalkeeper Begley Brennan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enda Dunne. Enda Dunnes short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Begley Brennan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 42 minutes into the match, Gortgar's goalkeeper Begley Brennan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enda Dunne. Enda Dunne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Begley Brennan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fionntán McPeter hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. If Breannain Hunt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Gortgar's goal looked a bit too open when Enda Dunne came free, but Begley Brennan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute Breannain Hunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bras Harkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Begley Brennan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enda Dunne in the 97th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
