Trien McSteve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bairre Ryan in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Millford's goal looked a bit too open when Aengus McDonald came free, but Lee Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brett McAlphie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Lee Hutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brett McAlphie who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Lee Hutton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Rabbitburrow AFC's Lee Hutton threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aengus McDonald, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 30 minutes into the match, Millford's goalkeeper Lee Hutton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Terrence Silke. With a little luck, Millford's Lee Hutton got control of the ball when Brett McAlphie tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute Coran Benson suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 33 minutes into the game, Branigan McSteve was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Millford's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rabbitburrow AFC the free kick. The supporters of Rabbitburrow AFC booed when Millford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Branigan McSteve didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bairre Ryan hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Brett McAlphie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Shea Sheridan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bairre Ryan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Trien McSteve made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Brett McAlphie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rabbitburrow AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brett McAlphie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lee Hutton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brett McAlphie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Terrence Silke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rabbitburrow AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Terrence Silke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lee Hutton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Millford's goal looked a bit too open when Brett McAlphie came free, but Lee Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Shea Sheridan fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Millford's protests and gave Shea Sheridan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Rabbitburrow AFC booed when Millford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shea Sheridan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trien McSteve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shea Sheridan in the 69th minute of play. Lee Hutton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aengus McDonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the game, Terrence Silke cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Lee Hutton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute, Curran Mulvihill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Millford's goal looked a bit too open when Terrence Silke came free, but Lee Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Millford's Lee Hutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brett McAlphie in the 85th minute of play. Aengus McDonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 minutes of play, Rabbitburrow AFC's Brett McAlphie made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lee Hutton was left in no man's land by his defense there! 98 minutes into the match, Millford's goal looked a bit too open when Terrence Silke came free, but Lee Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rabbitburrow AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
