Millford's Shea Sheridan got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute of the match, Bow McSteven got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lee Hutton was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 85 played minutes Millford got a freekick which was hit by Branigan McSteve. With an all-out effort, Geashill FC's Lee Hutton threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Quaid Duggan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 91 minutes into the match, Millford's goal looked a bit too open when Devlin Barrett came free, but Lee Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bow McSteven struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Lee Hutton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geashill FC. Lee Hutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devlin Barrett, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
