After 5 minutes of play, Burren's Bellaghy Beckett made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brannen Walker was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brannen Walker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Banbhan McPaul in the 10th minute of the match. Devlin Barrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Devlin Barrett was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 22nd minute. Geashill FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 26 played minutes Burren got a freekick which was hit by Binne McWillie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Devlin Barrett in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torin McLian saved Burren from getting behind. In the 27th match minute, Burren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Binne McWillie to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 28 minutes, Devlin Barrett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geashill FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Devlin Barrett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torin McLian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devlin Barrett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee gave Burren a penalty, 35 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Beairtle Perth, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Geashill FC's Brannen Walker. 0-2. Beairtle Perth hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Burren's zone, Devlin Barrett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torin McLian came out of the goal and Devlin Barrett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geashill FC's Brannen Walker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Banbhan McPaul in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Devlin Barrett made the kick off in the second half. Devlin Barrett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Torin McLian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bow McSteven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bow McSteven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Torin McLian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bow McSteven, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Torin McLian didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Devlin Barrett went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Banbhan McPaul in the 81st minute of play forced Geashill FC's goalkeeper Brannen Walker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torin McLian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bow McSteven's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. If Devlin Barrett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st match minute, Geashill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bradagain Martyn to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Banbhan McPaul got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Devlin Barrett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
