Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Derrycoosh AFC's Ryleigh McGlynn started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alan McWilliam took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rowley McWillie. Rowley McWillie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ryleigh McGlynn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ryleigh McGlynn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Cian Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cian Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryleigh McGlynn in the 14th minute of the match. Rowley McWillie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan McWilliam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blavock McBjarton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Rowley McWillie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Alan McWilliam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pettigo's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan McWilliam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rowley McWillie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Derrycoosh AFC booed when Pettigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Briony Lavine didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Derrycoosh AFC's Ricard McWill sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cian Byrne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Derrycoosh AFC's Rowley McWillie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan McWilliam in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Pettigo's goal looked a bit too open when Ryleigh McGlynn came free, but Cian Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryleigh McGlynn in the 38th minute of play forced Pettigo's goalkeeper Cian Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ricard McWill came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Derrycoosh AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricard McWill couldn't finish the play. Ricard McWill was extremely unlucky when he, in the 46th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Blavock McBjarton made a kick off. Blavock McBjarton struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Rowley McWillie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pettigo. Rowley McWillie made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Alan McWilliam sent off a good shot on target. 56 minutes into the match, Ryleigh McGlynn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cian Byrne. Pettigo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryleigh McGlynn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ryleigh McGlynn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cian Byrne having to interfere. Ryleigh McGlynn scored 2-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cian Byrne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 75th minute, Ryleigh McGlynn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ryleigh McGlynn in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cian Byrne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute of the match Breannain McGlenn shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cian Byrne showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Alan McWilliam fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pettigo's protests and gave Alan McWilliam a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Derrycoosh AFC booed when Pettigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan McWilliam didn't get a good kick on the ball. Briony Lavine kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Bowen McBjarton, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ryleigh McGlynn in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cian Byrne saved Pettigo from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Derrycoosh AFC's Tathan Cronin got a free kick in the 95th minute. Derrycoosh AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
