Alan McWilliam's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Tathan McCready skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blavock McBjarton in the 5th minute of play forced Glinsk's goalkeeper Tathan McCready to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Pettigo's goal looked a bit too open when Britt Willson came free, but Cian Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tathan McCready showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blavock McBjarton in the 15th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes, Glinsk's Philib O'Neill shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cian Byrne came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Glinsk reached it. 22 minutes into the match, Glinsk's Reginald Dalton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cian Byrne narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Britt Willson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cian Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Glinsk's Britt Willson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cian Byrne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Quirk Prunty hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Cian Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Britt Willson in the 31st minute of play. Alan McWilliam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tathan McCready having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Glinsk's Byrne Moran got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Brickeen Coyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tathan McCready showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brickeen Coyle in the 41st minute of the match. Britt Willson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cian Byrne having to interfere. Cian Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Britt Willson, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Glinsk were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Britt Willson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cian Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pettigo's Cian Byrne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Pettigo from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Reginald Dalton kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cian Byrne. That made the score 0-2 in the 63 minute of play. If Reginald Dalton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Alan McWilliam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tathan McCready. Glinsk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alan McWilliam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Blavock McBjarton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tathan McCready read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. If Alan McWilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blavock McBjarton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Tathan McCready tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Glinsk players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
