The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rorey Hutton helped the player get up and apologised. Rorey Hutton kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Teddy McLian scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Timmons Silke, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the game, Beglan Cooney cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Timmons Silke was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Cuilkillew getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rorey Hutton hit a great ball. After 14 played minutes, Drumbrollisk's Brenden Hunt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Timmons Silke came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Drumbrollisk reached it. Beglan Cooney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Timmons Silke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teddy McLian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Timmons Silke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beglan Cooney's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Drumbrollisk's Teddy McLian got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Drumbrollisk's Teddy McLian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timmons Silke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Beglan Cooney came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Drumbrollisk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beglan Cooney couldn't finish the play. Teddy McLian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Timmons Silke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timmons Silke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teddy McLian, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Cuilkillew players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Drumbrollisk were winning 0-2.

After having played for 56 minutes, Teddy McLian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Drumbrollisk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teddy McLian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute Sameer Molloy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timmons Silke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teddy McLian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Timmons Silke made a huge save. If Beglan Cooney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 played minutes Cuilkillew got a freekick which was hit by Kevin MaCollin. The supporters of Drumbrollisk booed when Cuilkillew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil McTommy didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cuilkillew's zone, Teddy McLian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timmons Silke came out of the goal and Teddy McLian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teddy McLian struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Timmons Silke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drumbrollisk. 87 minutes into the match, Cuilkillew's goalkeeper Timmons Silke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teddy McLian. After 90 minutes, Kevin MaCollin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuilkillew and the Drumbrollisk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kevin MaCollin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Beglan Cooney's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timmons Silke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Cuilkillew's goal looked a bit too open when Beglan Cooney came free, but Timmons Silke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Drumbrollisk could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cuilkillew throughout the match.
