Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pawd Rogers made the kick off and thus started the match. Timmons Silke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawd Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 7th match minute, Cuilkillew was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rorey Hutton to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cuilkillew's zone, Triain Kirby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timmons Silke came out of the goal and Triain Kirby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Triain Kirby blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timmons Silke having to make a save. When Bunduvowen's Pawd Rogers in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cuilkillew's goalie prevented a goal. Pawd Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Timmons Silke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 minutes, Rorey Hutton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuilkillew and the Bunduvowen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Triain Kirby left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bunduvowen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After having played for 26 minutes, Triain Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bunduvowen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Triain Kirby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rownun Lester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin MaCollin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pawd Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timmons Silke having to interfere. Bunduvowen's Rownun Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil McTommy in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kevin MaCollin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cormac Beckett fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bunduvowen's protests and gave Cormac Beckett a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 played minutes Bunduvowen got a freekick which was hit by Cormac Beckett. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Triain Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bunduvowen's supporters rose to their feet, but Triain Kirby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timmons Silke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Timmons Silke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pawd Rogers went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Pawd Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timmons Silke was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Triain Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bunduvowen's supporters rose to their feet, but Triain Kirby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timmons Silke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pawd Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Timmons Silke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Triain Kirby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Timmons Silke was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When Triain Kirby came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Bunduvowen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Triain Kirby couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Cuilkillew's goal looked a bit too open when Pawd Rogers came free, but Timmons Silke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pawd Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Timmons Silke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, one of Cuilkillew:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 93rd minute Triain Kirby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timmons Silke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cormac Beckett struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Timmons Silke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bunduvowen. Bunduvowen's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
