Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rowley John made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 7thth minute of the game Teddy McCollion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bunnagippaun's Boru O'Brien was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Berrin Quinnless could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Boru O'Brien made a huge save. Donn Doherty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Bunnagippaun's goalkeeper Boru O'Brien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Berrin Quinnless. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Teddy McCollion got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Brakawn Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donn Doherty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Attiregan's Keely Bayes got a free kick in the 28th minute. Rowley John sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Teddy McCollion recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Boru O'Brien. Teddy McCollion showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donn Doherty in the 44th minute of play forced Attiregan's goalkeeper Brakawn Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teddy McCollion was the one to do the kick off. The audience was convinced that Teddy McCollion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boru O'Brien was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. If Berrin Quinnless had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Teddy McCollion, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 58 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Boru O'Brien was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Berrin Quinnless struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Boru O'Brien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Attiregan. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Donn Doherty got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Attiregan's Brakawn Byrne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Attiregan from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute, Burke McFrank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddy McCollion in the 75th minute of play forced Bunnagippaun's goalkeeper Boru O'Brien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boru O'Brien didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teddy McCollion went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Boru O'Brien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teddy McCollion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 86 played minutes Bunnagippaun got a freekick which was hit by Brady Gough. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Berrin Quinnless in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boru O'Brien prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brady Gough during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes Bunnagippaun got a freekick which was hit by Brady Gough. After a rather tough play, Attiregan's Bardon McAaron got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
