Beachain Jameson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Brickeen McVictor came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Greeve AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brickeen McVictor couldn't finish the play. Brickeen McVictor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Timothy McIan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Emly's Breanne Dempsey got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Emly's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Brickeen McVictor fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 16 minutes into the game, Keefe McTommy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Greeve AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Emly the free kick. A very good chance. If Dónal McGlenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dónal McGlenn made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Beachain Jameson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 56 minutes into the match, Dónal McGlenn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Timothy McIan. Emly's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dónal McGlenn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brickeen McVictor in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Timothy McIan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 69 minutes of play, Greeve AFC's Dónal McGlenn made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timothy McIan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brickeen McVictor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timothy McIan having to interfere. Greeve AFC's Blathma Holt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Greeve AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 83rdth minute of the game Dónal McGlenn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Emly's Timothy McIan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Emly's goal looked a bit too open when Dónal McGlenn came free, but Timothy McIan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Heron Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timothy McIan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brickeen McVictor, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Emly's Heron Hutton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Blathma Holt. That made the score 2-1 after 96 minutes of play. Greeve AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
