Baiscend McJon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cahir Tracy fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bunnagippaun's protests and gave Cahir Tracy a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bunnagippaun getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Cahir Tracy hit a great ball. If Harkin Harkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rowley John fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beothach Palmer having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Baiscend McJon made a precise shot to the right of Boru O'Brien. Bunnagippaun's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 26thth minute of the game Rowley John who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shinrone AFC's Beothach Palmer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Rowley John managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bunnagippaun's supporters rose to their feet, but Rowley John was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beothach Palmer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Harkin Harkin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Finian Cassin hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Baiscend McJon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Bunnagippaun got a freekick which was hit by Burke McFrank. When Baiscend McJon came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Shinrone AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baiscend McJon couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute Baiscend McJon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boru O'Brien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Shinrone AFC's zone, Rowley John stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beothach Palmer came out of the goal and Rowley John tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harkin Harkin to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Baiscend McJon could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Boru O'Brien however easily saved by the left post. Baiscend McJon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Boru O'Brien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Boru O'Brien throw himself and got hold of the ball when Harkin Harkin in the 57thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Bunnagippaun getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Burke McFrank hit a great ball. When Harkin Harkin came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Shinrone AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harkin Harkin couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Bunnagippaun's Burke McFrank got a free kick in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Harkin Harkin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Boru O'Brien, 0-2. A collision led to Bunnagippaun getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ryley McAlphie hit a great ball. Burke McFrank was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Shinrone AFC booed when Bunnagippaun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burke McFrank didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baiscend McJon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Boru O'Brien made a huge save. Boru O'Brien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harkin Harkin in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Rowley John was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bunnagippaun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shinrone AFC the free kick. Boru O'Brien was a little too slow when Harkin Harkin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harkin Harkin in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boru O'Brien prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brady Gough hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Baiscend McJon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Shinrone AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
