Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Art McLiam made the kick off which started today's match. Heron Caffey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brakawn Byrne having to make a save. Art McLiam's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brakawn Byrne read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Attiregan's Brakawn Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Art McLiam in the 9th minute of play. Berrin Quinnless sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berrin Quinnless blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thom Deans having to make a save. Heron Caffey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Brakawn Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Attiregan's Brakawn Byrne got control of the ball when Harley McJames tried to sneak it across the goal line. Art McLiam blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brakawn Byrne having to make a save. In the 25th minute Teddy McCollion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thom Deans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bantry's Brickeen Gollogley got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Teddy McCollion left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Attiregan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Attiregan's goalkeeper Brakawn Byrne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Art McLiam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Brakawn Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Harley McJames hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Thom Deans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berrin Quinnless, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Teddy McCollion made the kick off in the second half. When Teddy McCollion came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Attiregan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teddy McCollion couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Bantry's zone, Berrin Quinnless stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thom Deans came out of the goal and Berrin Quinnless tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brakawn Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brickeen Gollogley in the 61st minute of play. In the 64thth minute of the game Teddy McCollion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bantry's Thom Deans was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Attiregan's Reagan Johnson got a free kick in the 65th minute. Thom Deans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teddy McCollion, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 69th minute, Teddy McCollion ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thom Deans was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Berrin Quinnless fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thom Deans having to interfere. Berrin Quinnless who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Thom Deans when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, Attiregan's Teddy McCollion sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thom Deans narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Teddy McCollion got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Brakawn Byrne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Art McLiam's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Attiregan's Arthur Byrne got a free kick in the 87th minute. When Art McLiam came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Bantry fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Art McLiam couldn't finish the play. When Bantry's Heron Caffey in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Attiregan's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferdia Deans during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ferdia Deans kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Bantry supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Attiregan's performance. The match ended with a win for Attiregan.
