The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hayes Gollogley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timothy McIan having to interfere. Beartlai McSteve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Timothy McIan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th match minute, Emly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breanne Dempsey to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Séamus McOliver put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Timothy McIan. If Hayes Gollogley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Knockstopher's Séamus McOliver sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Timothy McIan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Emly booed when Knockstopher was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derin McDonald didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Séamus McOliver made a precise shot to the right of Timothy McIan. Emly's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Heron Hutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Binne McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Knockstopher's Binne McLaughlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heron Hutton in the 35th minute of play. Séamus McOliver took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Timothy McIan. Timothy McIan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The audience was convinced that Séamus McOliver's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Timothy McIan was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heron Hutton to make the kick off. Timothy McIan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hayes Gollogley in the 51st minute of the match. Harley McCready struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Timothy McIan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knockstopher. Séamus McOliver was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. Knockstopher's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Knockstopher's Séamus McOliver got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Séamus McOliver did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Timothy McIan 61 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Kerrigan McOliver notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Knockstopher's Binne McLaughlin. Binne McLaughlin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Binne McLaughlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heron Hutton in the 74th minute of the match. Geralt McNamee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Binne McLaughlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hayes Gollogley in the 77th minute of play forced Emly's goalkeeper Timothy McIan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Séamus McOliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timothy McIan having to interfere. Derin McDonald struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Timothy McIan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knockstopher. After a defensive mix-up in Emly's zone, Séamus McOliver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timothy McIan came out of the goal and Séamus McOliver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Séamus McOliver had several of the Emly's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-5 score and a disappointed Timothy McIan as he didn't even see the shot coming. Timothy McIan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Séamus McOliver's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Derin McDonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Knockstopher's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
