In the 5th minute, Brickeen McVictor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute, Bergin Cooney fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bergin Cooney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bergin Cooney in the 13th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Blathma Holt kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Beary McWill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Blathma Holt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Greeve AFC got a freekick which was hit by Beachain Jameson. 19 minutes into the match, Greeve AFC's goalkeeper Blathma Holt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beary McWill. Dónal McGlenn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Braedon Beckett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blathma Holt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bergin Cooney, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Bergin Cooney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blathma Holt having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Dónal McGlenn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Braedon Beckett was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Braedon Beckett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dónal McGlenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dónal McGlenn to make the kick off. If Brickeen McVictor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brickeen McVictor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dónal McGlenn in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braedon Beckett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Knockboha FC's Braedon Beckett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Knockboha FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Knockboha FC booed when Greeve AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beckett Ramsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Braedon Beckett managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Greeve AFC's Brickeen McVictor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 84 minutes into the match, Knockboha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dónal McGlenn came free, but Braedon Beckett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Braedon Beckett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brickeen McVictor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Greeve AFC's Beachain Jameson got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 91 minutes Greeve AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dolan Gallagher who took care of the corner kick. If Beary McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes Dónal McGlenn rounded Knockboha FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-3. The Greeve AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
