Knockstopher's Hayes Gollogley got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Knockstopher's goal looked a bit too open when Beary McWill came free, but Binne McLaughlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Knockboha FC's Blake O'Brien suffered a concussion in the 20th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Beartlai McSteve charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beartlai McSteve the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st match minute, Knockstopher was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beartlai McSteve to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Knockboha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Séamus McOliver came free, but Braedon Beckett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Knockstopher's Séamus McOliver got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Séamus McOliver blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Braedon Beckett having to make a save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Knockboha FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Knockstopher:s goal. Beartlai McSteve shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Hayes Gollogley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braedon Beckett having to interfere. Beary McWill struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Binne McLaughlin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Knockboha FC. In the 44thth minute of the game Séamus McOliver who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knockboha FC's Braedon Beckett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Beartlai McSteve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Braedon Beckett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Braedon Beckett was a little too slow when Séamus McOliver got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Beary McWill stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Braedon Beckett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Séamus McOliver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Séamus McOliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knockboha FC's goalkeeper Braedon Beckett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Séamus McOliver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Knockboha FC's zone, Beartlai McSteve stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Braedon Beckett came out of the goal and Beartlai McSteve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Séamus McOliver in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Braedon Beckett saved Knockboha FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Derin McDonald in the 73rd minute of play forced Knockboha FC's goalkeeper Braedon Beckett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Séamus McOliver might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Braedon Beckett. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Séamus McOliver ran back to his position shaking his head. 75 minutes into the match, Knockboha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Derin McDonald came free, but Braedon Beckett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Séamus McOliver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braedon Beckett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Knockstopher's Barran McBrandon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Braedon Beckett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Samueil McStephen's late challenge caught a Knockboha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samueil McStephen helped the player get up and apologised. Samueil McStephen hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Braedon Beckett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Séamus McOliver went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Séamus McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Derin McDonald made a precise shot to the right of Braedon Beckett. Knockboha FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Knockboha FC's goalkeeper Braedon Beckett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Knockstopher walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
