Bunnagippaun's supporters rose to their feet, but Donn Doherty was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Austin Tracy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute, Donn Doherty made a precise shot to the right of Austin Tracy. Farranthomas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Donn Doherty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bunnagippaun booed when Farranthomas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teddy Dempsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Donn Doherty had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Austin Tracy. Boru O'Brien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Farranthomas FC. Burke McFrank kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Boru O'Brien was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aron Byrne showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 25 minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Farranthomas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rowley John came free, but Austin Tracy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boru O'Brien was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Aron Byrne capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aron Byrne really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. After 46 played minutes Bunnagippaun got a freekick which was hit by Ryley McAlphie. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ryleigh Palmer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brady Gough's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Austin Tracy firmly grabbed it by the left post.
