The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timothy McIan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Emly's goal looked a bit too open when Harkin Harkin came free, but Timothy McIan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tipper McMichel's late challenge caught a Emly's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tipper McMichel helped the player get up and apologised. Tipper McMichel kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If Heron Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bressail Matthews hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Shinrone AFC's goalkeeper Beothach Palmer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Emly's Breanne Dempsey got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Emly! Edwin Ramsey charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edwin Ramsey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Timothy McIan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Harkin Harkin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timothy McIan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Harkin Harkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timothy McIan having to interfere. Timothy McIan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baiscend McJon in the 42nd minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harkin Harkin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Beothach Palmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerrigan McOliver in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54thth minute of the game Harkin Harkin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Emly's Timothy McIan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Kerrigan McOliver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timothy McIan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baiscend McJon in the 63rd minute. Breanne Dempsey kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Heron Hutton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beothach Palmer having to make a save. Beothach Palmer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Heron Hutton's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. During the 73rd minute of the match Edwin Ramsey completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edwin Ramsey a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Edwin Ramsey hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Quinton McWilliam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beolagh Ghee struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Timothy McIan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shinrone AFC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Heron Hutton in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beothach Palmer saved Shinrone AFC from getting behind. Baiscend McJon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timothy McIan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tipper McMichel in the 85th minute of play forced Emly's goalkeeper Timothy McIan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Emly's goalkeeper Timothy McIan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baiscend McJon. After a defensive mix-up in Emly's zone, Baiscend McJon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Timothy McIan came out of the goal and Baiscend McJon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Shinrone AFC booed when Emly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breanne Dempsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shinrone AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
