Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rowley John started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 3 played minutes Bunnagippaun got a freekick which was hit by Burke McFrank. Brickeen McVictor scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boru O'Brien, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Brickeen McVictor came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Greeve AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brickeen McVictor couldn't finish the play. If Brickeen McVictor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Dónal McGlenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Bunnagippaun's zone, Dónal McGlenn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boru O'Brien came out of the goal and Dónal McGlenn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dónal McGlenn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boru O'Brien having to interfere. If Dónal McGlenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th match minute, Greeve AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keefe McTommy to maneuver through the defense. After 44 minutes, Beachain Jameson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Greeve AFC and the Bunnagippaun players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Beachain Jameson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donal McMichel hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Dónal McGlenn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boru O'Brien having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dónal McGlenn to strike the kick off in the second half. Boru O'Brien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brickeen McVictor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Greeve AFC's Dónal McGlenn in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bunnagippaun's goalie prevented a goal. In the 57th minute Dónal McGlenn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boru O'Brien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bunnagippaun's goalkeeper Boru O'Brien, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 60 minutes, Burke McFrank mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bunnagippaun and the Greeve AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Brady Gough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dónal McGlenn in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boru O'Brien saved Bunnagippaun from getting behind. Dónal McGlenn might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boru O'Brien. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dónal McGlenn ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Bunnagippaun getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Thurl Bayes hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brickeen McVictor in the 76th minute of play forced Bunnagippaun's goalkeeper Boru O'Brien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greeve AFC's Beachain Jameson got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Beachain Jameson off the ground. In the 78th minute, Beachain Jameson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes Greeve AFC got a freekick which was hit by Keefe McTommy. Boru O'Brien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brickeen McVictor, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Bunnagippaun's Thurl Bayes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Brickeen McVictor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Boru O'Brien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Greeve AFC's Dónal McGlenn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boru O'Brien narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot by Artuir Rogers from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Blathma Holt's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Keefe McTommy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Boru O'Brien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Greeve AFC were the better team. Greeve AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
