Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dónal McGlenn got the match started through his kick off. Thom Deans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dónal McGlenn in the 3rd minute of the match. Heron Caffey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beckett Ramsey kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Ferdia Deans kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Brickeen McVictor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Bantry defense, Brickeen McVictor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thom Deans. The Bantry fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thom Deans should have stopped the shot. Brickeen McVictor took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thom Deans. Thom Deans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. With an all-out effort, Bantry's Blathma Holt threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Art McLiam, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Heron Caffey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 37 minutes, Art McLiam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bantry's supporters crossed their fingers, but Art McLiam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee gave Bantry a penalty, 43 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Harley McJames, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Greeve AFC's Blathma Holt. 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Art McLiam was the one to do the kick off. If Brickeen McVictor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thom Deans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dónal McGlenn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Greeve AFC's Blathma Holt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Art McLiam in the 59th minute of play. Brickeen Gollogley kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Heron Caffey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bantry fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. After 71 played minutes Greeve AFC got a freekick which was hit by Beachain Jameson. When Greeve AFC's Dónal McGlenn in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bantry's goalie prevented a goal. Dónal McGlenn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ailín Gillmour during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ailín Gillmour hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Greeve AFC's goalkeeper Blathma Holt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Keefe McTommy during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, Bantry's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Brickeen McVictor fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
