In the 47th minute, Conan Bayes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Todd Kelly. The goal made the score 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geoffrey McStephen to make the kick off. Beag Callaghan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geoffrey McStephen in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Geoffrey McStephen notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Garnish's Beag Callaghan. Beag Callaghan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffrey McStephen in the 74th minute of play forced Garnish's goalkeeper Beag Callaghan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Garnish getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Killian John hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Gehan McBjarton sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Beag Callaghan threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Gehan McBjarton this time. After 83 minutes of play, Glanlarehan's Pawd MaCollin made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beag Callaghan was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Garnish's Conan Bayes in 91 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Todd Kelly guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After having played for 94 minutes, Cassidy Frankson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garnish's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cassidy Frankson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Todd Kelly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conan Bayes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renny McBjarton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Todd Kelly. Glanlarehan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Glanlarehan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Glanlarehan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
