Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Kippagh's Donelle McCollion started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Theodore Doyle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 9th minute, Samuel McOliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th match minute, Ballyvaughan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theodore Doyle to maneuver through the defense. If Coinneach McJames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donelle McCollion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paud Todd having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ballyvaughan AFC's zone, Coinneach McJames stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paud Todd came out of the goal and Coinneach McJames tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Giles McBrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theodore Doyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Coinneach McJames scored 1-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paud Todd, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Ballyvaughan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Donelle McCollion came free, but Paud Todd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donelle McCollion in the 33rd minute of play forced Ballyvaughan AFC's goalkeeper Paud Todd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Donelle McCollion left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kippagh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Coinneach McJames in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paud Todd, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 44 minutes into the match, Ballyvaughan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Donelle McCollion came free, but Paud Todd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ballyvaughan AFC's zone, Coinneach McJames stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paud Todd came out of the goal and Coinneach McJames tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Coinneach McJames in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paud Todd, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Theodore Doyle made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Teagan Ghee sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paud Todd skillfully saved the ball. Paud Todd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donelle McCollion in the 58th minute of play. Paud Todd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donelle McCollion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 minutes of play, Kippagh's Donelle McCollion made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paud Todd was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd match minute, Ballyvaughan AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carrigan Tracy to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Kippagh's Samuel McOliver got a free kick in the 66th minute. Paud Todd stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donelle McCollion's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Ballyvaughan AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Donelle McCollion came free, but Paud Todd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theodore Doyle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giles McBrand having to interfere. When Donelle McCollion came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Kippagh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donelle McCollion couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ballyvaughan AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kippagh.
