Coinneach McJames could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Beag Callaghan made a huge save. Cassidy Frankson struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Giles McBrand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garnish. Donelle McCollion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beag Callaghan having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Hugh Caffey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bree Holt didn't quite understand what happened when in the 23 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. If Conan Bayes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuel McOliver hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Killian John hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Coinneach McJames let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 37th minute shot 1-0 at rihgt post. In the 41st minute, Conan Bayes made a precise shot to the right of Giles McBrand. Kippagh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The supporters of Kippagh booed when Garnish was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Killian John didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugh Caffey, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

The wind increased when Donelle McCollion made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Coinneach McJames's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beag Callaghan was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After 66 minutes of play, Kippagh's Donelle McCollion made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beag Callaghan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 69 minutes into the match, Garnish's goal looked a bit too open when Donelle McCollion came free, but Beag Callaghan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Killian John hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Kippagh's goal looked a bit too open when Conan Bayes came free, but Giles McBrand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Garnish booed when Kippagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patraic Quinnless didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kippagh's Giles McBrand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conan Bayes in the 80th minute of play. Cassidy Frankson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Giles McBrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giles McBrand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Killian John in the 87th minute of play. When Pearce Dimson fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kippagh's protests and gave Pearce Dimson a yellow card for diving instead. Pearce Dimson hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, one of Garnish:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. For all the effort they put into the match, the Garnish players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Kippagh.
