Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Patrick Branson took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ballygorteen Utd's zone, Bardan Robinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joseph Rutherford came out of the goal and Bardan Robinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Riley Callaghan made a precise shot to the right of Torrans Morrison. Loughamore's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Riley Callaghan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Torrans Morrison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Branson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Loughamore's Bardan Robinson in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ballygorteen Utd's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Ballygorteen Utd's goalkeeper Joseph Rutherford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aodh McStephen. In the 19th minute, Patrick Branson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ballygorteen Utd! Boru Mulvihill walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Aodh McStephen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Loughamore's zone, Riley Callaghan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Torrans Morrison came out of the goal and Riley Callaghan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Riley Callaghan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torrans Morrison having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Loughamore's Pawd McLaughlin got a free kick in the 40th minute. Beglan McCollion hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The Loughamore players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ballygorteen Utd were winning 0-1.

Berchan Coyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joseph Rutherford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aodh McStephen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Loughamore getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Baran Moran hit a great ball. Flann Caffey kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Reilly Doherty, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Riley Callaghan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Torrans Morrison skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Branson in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Torrans Morrison saved Loughamore from getting behind. Patrick Branson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Loughamore's Flann Caffey got a free kick in the 84th minute. The supporters of Ballygorteen Utd booed when Loughamore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beglan McCollion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Riley Callaghan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Torrans Morrison when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 90 minutes into the match, Loughamore's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Branson came free, but Torrans Morrison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ballygorteen Utd's Joseph Rutherford played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aodh McStephen in the 94th minute of play.
