Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Blavock McGlynn started the match with the kick off. Brann McNamara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blavock McGlynn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bard McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Royan O'Brien having to interfere. If Comhghall Dillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Ballydivin defense, Riley McAaron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brann McNamara. The Ballydivin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brann McNamara should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute, Breen Johnson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the game, Ballydivin's Comhghall Dillon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Royan O'Brien made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Comhghall Dillon might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Royan O'Brien. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Comhghall Dillon ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Kilbeheny Utd defense, Comhghall Dillon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Royan O'Brien. The Kilbeheny Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Royan O'Brien should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blavock McGlynn in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brann McNamara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ballydivin's Bard McFrancise got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Comhghall Dillon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Royan O'Brien made a huge save. In the 32nd minute, Ballydivin's Comhghall Dillon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Royan O'Brien. Royan O'Brien yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Riley McAaron kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Comhghall Dillon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

54 minutes into the game, Riley McAaron was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kilbeheny Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballydivin the free kick. After having played for 55 minutes, Bard McFrancise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballydivin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bard McFrancise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brann McNamara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Blavock McGlynn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 played minutes Kilbeheny Utd got a freekick which was hit by Riley McAaron. George Jameson charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed George Jameson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. George Jameson kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 64 minutes of play, Ballydivin's Comhghall Dillon made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Royan O'Brien was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bard McFrancise struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Royan O'Brien didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballydivin. After having played for 70 minutes, Bard McFrancise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballydivin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bard McFrancise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brann McNamara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blavock McGlynn in the 71st minute of the match. Royan O'Brien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bard McFrancise in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Ballydivin booed when Kilbeheny Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Riley McAaron didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Ballydivin's Braedon McStephen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Braedon McStephen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ballydivin protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Braedon McStephen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ballydivin fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Ballydivin:s Brann McNamara showed great skill when he stopped Pearce Horgan:s penalty. If Comhghall Dillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Breen Johnson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Royan O'Brien was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Royan O'Brien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Comhghall Dillon in the 96th minute of the match. Ros Gillmour's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Royan O'Brien read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ballydivin had played much better football throughout.
