Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ardattin's Bressal McLaughlin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egan Todd got free with Desmond Branson in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herich McFrank hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Beiti McGlenn sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kilnamaddy's Desmond Branson didn't even have to move. The audience was convinced that Boylan Beckett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barry Dalton was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Egan Todd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Desmond Branson made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Egan Todd sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bressal McLaughlin in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Desmond Branson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bressal McLaughlin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egan Todds short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Desmond Branson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Egan Todd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Kilnamaddy defense, Egan Todd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Desmond Branson. The Kilnamaddy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desmond Branson should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Todd McGlenn to strike the kick off in the second half. Bressal McLaughlin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desmond Branson having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Bressal McLaughlin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ardattin's supporters rose to their feet, but Bressal McLaughlin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desmond Branson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Desmond Branson came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Ardattin's Egan Todd. But to his dismay, Egan Todd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Todd McGlenn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Barry Dalton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Boylan Beckett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kilnamaddy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boylan Beckett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Breandan Martyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kilnamaddy's supporters rose to their feet, but Breandan Martyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barry Dalton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beiti McGlenn during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 85 minutes into the game, one of Ardattin:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Todd McGlenn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barry Dalton having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Todd McGlenn in the 101st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barry Dalton saved Ardattin from getting behind.
