Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Comhghall Dillon made the kick off which started today's match. Brann McNamara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Riley Callaghan, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Riley Callaghan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baird McBrand in the 8th minute of play forced Ballydivin's goalkeeper Brann McNamara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ballygorteen Utd's Joseph Rutherford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Ballygorteen Utd from getting a goal against them. In the 13th match minute, Ballydivin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bard Matthews to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the game, Berchan Coyle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballygorteen Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballydivin the free kick. In the 26th minute, Baird McBrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Ballygorteen Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Bard McFrancise came free, but Joseph Rutherford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brann McNamara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Riley Callaghan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Ballydivin's goal looked a bit too open when Baird McBrand came free, but Brann McNamara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Comhghall Dillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joseph Rutherford made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Comhghall Dillon sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Ballydivin's Breen Johnson got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute, Bard McFrancise fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joseph Rutherford, passed just outside the right post. Joseph Rutherford was a little too slow when Bard McFrancise got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrick Branson made a kick off. Brann McNamara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berchan Coyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ballydivin's Brann McNamara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Ballydivin from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the game, Aron Scully was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballygorteen Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballydivin the free kick. A collision led to Ballygorteen Utd getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Aron Scully hit a great ball. Brann McNamara was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Patrick Branson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patrick Branson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Bard McFrancise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Joseph Rutherford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brann McNamara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berchan Coyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes Ballygorteen Utd got a freekick which was hit by Reilly Doherty. Bard McFrancise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Joseph Rutherford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Berchan Coyle kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Brann McNamara. That made the score 1-3 in the 86 minute of play. Bard McFrancise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Joseph Rutherford tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Berchan Coyle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brann McNamara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Comhghall Dillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
