Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Joseph Rutherford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Jameson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Kilbeheny Utd getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Riley McAaron hit a great ball. Ballygorteen Utd's Reilly Doherty couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kilbeheny Utd. Patrick Branson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berchan Coyle scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Royan O'Brien, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Blavock McGlynn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Patrick Branson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Royan O'Brien was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 29th minute of the match Pearce Horgan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joseph Rutherford showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Riley Callaghans short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Royan O'Brien to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Royan O'Brien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Branson in the 31st minute of play. When Berchan Coyle fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballygorteen Utd's protests and gave Berchan Coyle a yellow card for diving instead. Berchan Coyle hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Riley Callaghan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Royan O'Brien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Patrick Branson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Royan O'Brien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berchan Coyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th minute, George Jameson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Patrick Branson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, Riley Callaghan notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Kilbeheny Utd's Royan O'Brien. Royan O'Brien was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baird McBrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Royan O'Brien having to interfere. In the 69th minute Riley Callaghan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Royan O'Brien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Jameson kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Royan O'Brien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Branson in the 73rd minute of play. After 77 played minutes Kilbeheny Utd got a freekick which was hit by George Jameson. 79 minutes into the match, Kilbeheny Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Branson came free, but Royan O'Brien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ballygorteen Utd's Berchan Coyle got a free kick in the 81st minute. With a little luck, Ballygorteen Utd's Joseph Rutherford got control of the ball when Boynton Walker tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Riley McAaron during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Riley McAaron hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Riley Callaghan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Patrick Branson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ballygorteen Utd walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
