Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Baran Jameson kicked off to start the match. After 4 minutes of play, Derryrush AFC's Herygh Dimson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciarán McJames was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the game, Baran Jameson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ciarán McJames. Baran Jameson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. With a little luck, Bellagarvaun's Ciarán McJames got control of the ball when Herygh Dimson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 19 played minutes Derryrush AFC got a freekick which was hit by Blanche Cassin. Derryrush AFC's Baran Jameson got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baran Jameson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciarán McJames having to interfere. If Herygh Dimson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Herygh Dimson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Derryrush AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Herygh Dimson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciarán McJames breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Boyle McTommy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tevis Lavine was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Herygh Dimson came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Derryrush AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herygh Dimson couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute Baran Jameson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciarán McJames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciarán McJames made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Herygh Dimson sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baran Jameson in the 44th minute of play forced Bellagarvaun's goalkeeper Ciarán McJames to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Baran Jameson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derryrush AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baran Jameson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Derryrush AFC booed when Bellagarvaun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breas Hutton didn't get a good kick on the ball. 49 minutes into the match, Derryrush AFC's Baran Jameson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciarán McJames narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roy McLian was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Derryrush AFC got a freekick which was hit by Boyle McTommy. Paudraig McGlynn struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Terence McNamee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bellagarvaun. When Blanche Cassin fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Derryrush AFC's protests and gave Blanche Cassin a yellow card for diving instead. After 73 played minutes, Bellagarvaun's Tevis Lavine shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Terence McNamee came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bellagarvaun reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herygh Dimson in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciarán McJames saved Bellagarvaun from getting behind. Baran Jameson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Roy McLian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Roy McLian came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Bellagarvaun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roy McLian couldn't finish the play. Terence McNamee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy McLian in the 92nd minute of play. Paudraig McGlynn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Payton McOliver might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Terence McNamee. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Payton McOliver ran back to his position shaking his head.
