Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aron Duggan got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Paudraig McGlynn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bellagarvaun fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Iarla McDonald showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paudraig McGlynn, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Paudraig McGlynn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iarla McDonald. Coolbanagher's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paudraig McGlynn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 27thth minute of the game Aron Duggan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bellagarvaun's Ciarán McJames was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paudraig McGlynn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 30 minutes into the game, Ryley Gollogley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coolbanagher's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bellagarvaun the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Coolbanagher was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryley Gollogley to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 31 minutes, Roy McLian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bellagarvaun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roy McLian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Paudraig McGlynn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bellagarvaun booed when Coolbanagher was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bannon Ryan didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bellagarvaun getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Comhghall Savic hit a great ball. Ciarán McJames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Duggan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Coolbanagher's Aron Duggan got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aron Duggan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciarán McJames having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roy McLian to strike the kick off in the second half. When Aron Duggan came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the Coolbanagher fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Duggan couldn't finish the play. 52 minutes into the match, Bellagarvaun's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Duggan came free, but Ciarán McJames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Gerald Kirby had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciarán McJames. Bellagarvaun's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerald Kirby was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paudraig McGlynn got free with Iarla McDonald in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 62 played minutes Coolbanagher got a freekick which was hit by Bannon Ryan. The supporters of Coolbanagher booed when Bellagarvaun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breannain Ghee didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aron Duggan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Bellagarvaun's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Duggan came free, but Ciarán McJames reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coolbanagher's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Roy McLian scored to the left of an out of position Iarla McDonald, making the score, 1-3. 91 minutes into the match, Coolbanagher's Gerald Kirby sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ciarán McJames narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 95 minutes of play, Coolbanagher's Aron Duggan made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciarán McJames was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bellagarvaun eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
