Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Comhghall Dillon made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd play minute Comhghall Dillon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bret McAaron. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donavan Mulvihill during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Donavan Mulvihill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Comhghall Dillon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. When Mack McGlenn fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bellafarney Utd's protests and gave Mack McGlenn a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute there was a penalty for Ballydivin. Art Silke stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bret McAaron. 2-0. Comhghall Dillons short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Bret McAaron to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 18th match minute, Bellafarney Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donavan Mulvihill to maneuver through the defense. Comhghall Dillon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Bret McAaron made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Bard McFrancise managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballydivin's supporters rose to their feet, but Bard McFrancise was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bret McAaron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brann McNamara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donavan Mulvihill in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ballydivin's Art Silke got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 27 played minutes, Bellafarney Utd's Irwin O'Brien shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brann McNamara came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bellafarney Utd reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bard McFrancise in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bret McAaron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bret McAaron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bard McFrancise in the 33rd minute of play. Bard McFrancise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Comhghall Dillon got free with Bret McAaron in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bard Matthews lost his temper 40 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 39 minutes into the game, one of Ballydivin:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Comhghall Dillon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bret McAaron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Berchan McStephen struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Bret McAaron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballydivin. After having played for 77 minutes, Comhghall Dillon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballydivin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Comhghall Dillon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ballydivin getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Art Silke hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Irwin O'Brien sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Brann McNamara threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Irwin O'Brien this time. Comhghall Dillon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bret McAaron having to interfere. Brakawn Duggan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Brann McNamara firmly grabbed it by the left post. Breen Johnson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Bret McAaron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Comhghall Dillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bellafarney Utd succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ballydivin had controlled the match.
