Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Don Johnson made the kick off and thus started the match. When Ferrybank Utd's Brazil Dunne in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Callaghane FC's goalie prevented a goal. Gilbert McGlenn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rorke McStephen in the 7th minute of play. Harrington Kirby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Boroimhe McIan made a huge save. 10 minutes into the match, Callaghane FC's goal looked a bit too open when Brazil Dunne came free, but Boroimhe McIan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match Bricin McBrand shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gilbert McGlenn showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Bartley Dunne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferrybank Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Callaghane FC the free kick. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ferrybank Utd! In the 22nd minute of the match Callaghane FC got a corner. Ferrybank Utd's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bow Caffey ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 26th play minutes Rorke McStephen shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Gilbert McGlenn and just under the crossbar into goal. Boroimhe McIan came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferrybank Utd's Harrington Kirby. But to his dismay, Harrington Kirby quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Callaghane FC's zone, Harrington Kirby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boroimhe McIan came out of the goal and Harrington Kirby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute, Ferrybank Utd's Brazil Dunne ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Boroimhe McIan. Boroimhe McIan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. 44 minutes into the match, Ferrybank Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Bairre Hunt came free, but Gilbert McGlenn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

59 minutes into the match, Lochlainn Caffrey notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Callaghane FC's Boroimhe McIan. Boroimhe McIan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gilbert McGlenn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donahue McBrandon's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 68th minute Brazil Dunne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boroimhe McIan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boroimhe McIan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harrington Kirby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brazil Dunne in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boroimhe McIan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute, Bourns McCready hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boroimhe McIan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harrington Kirby's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. When Brazil Dunne came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Ferrybank Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brazil Dunne couldn't finish the play. Rorke McStephen kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Aaden McFrancise's late challenge caught a Ferrybank Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aaden McFrancise helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Callaghane FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ferrybank Utd:s goal. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for Ferrybank Utd. Rollin Lester stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Boroimhe McIan. 5-1. Callaghane FC's Boroimhe McIan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harrington Kirby in the 98th minute of play. Ferrybank Utd walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
