Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Beara Todd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Gough, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After 8 played minutes Greagh FC got a freekick which was hit by Baptist Tierney. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Braddon Costello took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gilbert McGlenn to make any attempt to save it. Braddon Costello succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 19th playminute. Beara Todd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lochlainn Caffrey in the 22nd minute of the match. Kennedy McPhilip hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Gilbert McGlenn made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Braddon Costello sent off a good shot on target. Greagh FC were furious when Baptist Tierney was red carded, 31 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brazil Dunne in the 39th minute of play forced Greagh FC's goalkeeper Beara Todd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brazil Dunne to strike the kick off in the second half. Gilbert McGlenn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Braddon Costello went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Royan Myler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert McGlenn having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Braddon Costello notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Ferrybank Utd's Gilbert McGlenn. Gilbert McGlenn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Braddon Costello came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Greagh FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braddon Costello couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Greagh FC's Brett McPeter got a free kick in the 69th minute. 74 minutes into the match, Braddon Costello had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gilbert McGlenn. Ferrybank Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braddon Costello was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Breslin John hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ferrybank Utd's zone, Braddon Costello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert McGlenn came out of the goal and Braddon Costello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 played minutes Greagh FC got a freekick which was hit by Brett McPeter. In the 93rd minute of the match, Harrington Kirby got a very nice opportunity to score, but Beara Todd was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ferrybank Utd's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
