Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Braddon Costello started the match with the kick off. When Bracken McWill fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nutgrove AFC's protests and gave Bracken McWill a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd match minute, Nutgrove AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bracken McWill to maneuver through the defense. Royan Myler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boethis Doyle having to interfere. After 8 played minutes Greagh FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Prunty. When Greagh FC's Braddon Costello in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nutgrove AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Barnaby Todd got a throw-in 17 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Don McDecland. The audience thought a goal was coming when Don McDecland got free with Beara Todd in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beara Todd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleary McWilliam, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Braddon Costello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Greagh FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braddon Costello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Braddon Costello took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Boethis Doyle. Boethis Doyle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Brett McPeter kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Beara Todd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Don McDecland in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cleary McWilliam made a kick off. Beara Todd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don McDecland, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Beara Todd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rowley McDonald in the 53rd minute of play. In the 80th minute Bracken McWill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beara Todd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beara Todd stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bracken McWill's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Beara Todd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rowley McDonald in the 83rd minute of play. After 85 minutes, Bel McBrandon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Greagh FC and the Nutgrove AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bel McBrandon hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute of the match Samueil Gillmour sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beara Todd skillfully saved the ball. In the 91st minute Cleary McWilliam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beara Todd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Nutgrove AFC booed when Greagh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breslin John didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rowley McDonald scored 1-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beara Todd, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nutgrove AFC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
