Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Benen McPhilip kicked off to start the match. Killanummery's Darren McVictor got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the game, Killanummery's Darren McVictor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilbert McGlenn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Torran McPeter charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Killanummery's Benen McPhilip got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 28 played minutes Killanummery got a freekick which was hit by Pembroke Robinson. After a rather tough play, Killanummery's Bel McJames got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Harrington Kirby came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ferrybank Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harrington Kirby couldn't finish the play. Benedict Coyle kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Brazil Dunne put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sameer Doyle. Darren McVictor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert McGlenn having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Killanummery got a freekick which was hit by Torran McPeter. Harrington Kirby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brazil Dunne to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Sameer Doyle managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Ferrybank Utd's Harrington Kirby fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Darren McVictor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killanummery's supporters rose to their feet, but Darren McVictor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilbert McGlenn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lochlainn Caffrey kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Darren McVictor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Killanummery fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.
