Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ultan Beckett kicked off to start the match. The throw-in from Bricin McBrand in the 9th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Frevanagh FC's Pauric McDonald. Ultan Beckett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Boroimhe McIan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Callaghane FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ultan Beckett came free, but Boroimhe McIan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pauric McDonald charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pauric McDonald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pauric McDonald hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Bourns McCready had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mack Jameson. Frevanagh FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bourns McCready was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Don Johnson took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mack Jameson to make any attempt to save it. Rorke McStephen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Mack Jameson made a huge save. After 29 played minutes Callaghane FC got a freekick which was hit by Donahue McBrandon. Donahue McBrandon charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donahue McBrandon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Frevanagh FC booed when Callaghane FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donahue McBrandon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hewney Myler struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Boroimhe McIan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frevanagh FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Frevanagh FC's Pauric McDonald managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gerald Gillmour in the 55 minute of the game. In the 61st minute Bourns McCready shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mack Jameson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mack Jameson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donahue McBrandon, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Rorke McStephen scored 3-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mack Jameson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mack Jameson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rorke McStephen , who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 79th minute Rorke McStephen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mack Jameson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mack Jameson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bourns McCready in the 82nd minute of play. Mack Jameson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rorke McStephen in the 90th minute of the match. Frevanagh FC's attentive Pauric McDonald managed to snatch the ball when Gerald Gillmour made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. Callaghane FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
