Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brazil Dunne kicked off to start the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Harrington Kirby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferrybank Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harrington Kirby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8thth minute of the game Brazil Dunne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nutgrove AFC's Boethis Doyle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brazil Dunne did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Boethis Doyle 10 minutes into the match. When Harrington Kirby came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Ferrybank Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harrington Kirby couldn't finish the play. Don McDecland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Bracken McWill left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nutgrove AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleary McWilliam in the 25th minute of play forced Ferrybank Utd's goalkeeper Gilbert McGlenn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Brazil Dunne kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Boethis Doyle. That made the score 2-1 in the 27 minute of play. Boethis Doyle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brazil Dunne's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Brazil Dunne fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Roland Gough kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Gilbert McGlenn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleary McWilliam in the 37th minute of play. After 45 minutes of play Ferrybank Utd's Roland Gough was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. If Cleary McWilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

52 minutes into the match, Nutgrove AFC's Don McDecland sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilbert McGlenn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brazil Dunne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Boethis Doyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Don McDecland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilbert McGlenn having to interfere. After 62 minutes, Lochlainn Caffrey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferrybank Utd and the Nutgrove AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ferrybank Utd's goalkeeper Gilbert McGlenn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cleary McWilliam in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilbert McGlenn saved Ferrybank Utd from getting behind. Rowley McDonald charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rowley McDonald the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 81 minutes into the match, Ferrybank Utd's Lochlainn Caffrey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boethis Doyle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rollin Lester hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Don McDecland got free with Gilbert McGlenn in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
