Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Shea McFrank kicked off to start the match. Bairee Gallagher struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Douglas Morrison didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Easky. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Drumgowan FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Brant Frankson was slow to take the kick. During this time Easky's players had a chance to rest. Douglas Morrison didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 15th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Fachtna Coyle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baine Caffrey went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Easky getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Shea McFrank hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donell Myler in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fachtna Coyle saved Easky from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Easky's Branson Hunt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Douglas Morrison narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Donell Myler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baine Caffrey in the 35th minute of play forced Easky's goalkeeper Fachtna Coyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th match minute, Drumgowan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Killian Tierney to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Easky's Brant Frankson tried to score from far away in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Douglas Morrison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shea McFrank in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Drumgowan FC's goalkeeper Douglas Morrison had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Branson Hunt. In the 43rd minute Shea McFrank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Morrison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Drumgowan FC's Braoin McGlynn got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Coinneach O'Brien hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When Shea McFrank came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Easky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shea McFrank couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Donell Myler made the kick off in the second half. Drumgowan FC's Douglas Morrison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bairee Gallagher in the 59th minute of play. Douglas Morrison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Branson Hunt in the 60th minute of the match. Killian Tierney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fachtna Coyle having to interfere. Baine Caffrey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Fachtna Coyle made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baine Caffrey got free with Fachtna Coyle in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Branson Hunt in the 73rd minute of play forced Drumgowan FC's goalkeeper Douglas Morrison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fachtna Coyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donell Myler in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Drumgowan FC booed when Easky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Todd Jameson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donell Myler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fachtna Coyle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Branson Hunt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Morrison having to interfere. Douglas Morrison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branson Hunt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Braoin McGlynn's late challenge caught a Easky's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braoin McGlynn helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, Drumgowan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braoin McGlynn to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes Drumgowan FC got a freekick which was hit by Braoin McGlynn. 97 minutes into the match, Easky's Brant Frankson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
