Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gill Cronin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Drumman FC's Bedilia McTommy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abban McGlenn in the 3rd minute of play. Harkin Duggan was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. Harkin Duggan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Gill Cronin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bedilia McTommy was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Bil Ramsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Drumahayre's Bragan McJon pulled a muscle in his leg after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Drumman FC's Bearnard Crowe got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Drumman FC's Bearnard Crowe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teddy Hunt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teddy Hunt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blanche Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the game, Drumahayre's Antaine McPhil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bedilia McTommy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a little luck, Drumman FC's Bedilia McTommy got control of the ball when Abban McGlenn tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bearnard Crowe in the 36th minute of play forced Drumahayre's goalkeeper Teddy Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bantry Robinson came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Drumahayre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bantry Robinson couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Drumman FC's goalkeeper Bedilia McTommy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antaine McPhil. In the 41st minute Antaine McPhil suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Blanche Johnson hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Teddy Hunt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bearnard Crowe in the 44th minute of the match. Felim McCready shot from long distance in the 47th minute, but Bedilia McTommy was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bearnard Crowe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Drumahayre's Teddy Hunt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Drumahayre from getting a goal against them. Bearnard Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Drumman FC's zone, Bearach Holt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bedilia McTommy came out of the goal and Bearach Holt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beatty Cassin's late challenge caught a Drumahayre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beatty Cassin helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Drumahayre's zone, Bil Ramsey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teddy Hunt came out of the goal and Bil Ramsey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, Drumman FC's goal looked a bit too open when Abban McGlenn came free, but Bedilia McTommy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 minutes of play, Drumahayre's Abban McGlenn made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bedilia McTommy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kaine Lavine struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Bedilia McTommy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drumahayre. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bearnard Crowe in the 86th minute of play forced Drumahayre's goalkeeper Teddy Hunt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Drumahayre's Bantry Robinson got a free kick in the 87th minute. Bil Ramsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teddy Hunt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baiscend Ryan in the 95th minute.
