Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paud McPaul started the match with the kick off. Brannagh Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casey Lester having to interfere. After having played for 13 minutes, Flannery McSteve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kilcronan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flannery McSteve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Brannagh Rogers lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Casey Lester. Aengus Callaghan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Brannagh Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aengus Callaghan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casey Lester having to interfere. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Drumlish! The goalkeeper, Casey Lester, was totally fooled by Kilcronan FC's Pearce McJohnny, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Aengus Callaghan in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Casey Lester, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Brannagh Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casey Lester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brannagh Rogers in the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Drumlish's zone, Brannagh Rogers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casey Lester came out of the goal and Brannagh Rogers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brannagh Rogers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 54th minute Brannagh Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casey Lester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brannagh Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Casey Lester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Drumlish defense, Brannagh Rogers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casey Lester. The Drumlish fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casey Lester should have stopped the shot. Brasil Dunne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Harry Costello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brannagh Rogers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casey Lester having to interfere. Casey Lester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brannagh Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paud McPaul in the 71st minute of play forced Kilcronan FC's goalkeeper Harry Costello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Drumlish defense, Brannagh Rogers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Casey Lester. The Drumlish fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Casey Lester should have stopped the shot. Aengus Callaghan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casey Lester having to interfere. Casey Lester took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flannery McSteve, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aengus Callaghan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aengus Callaghan in the 86th minute of play forced Drumlish's goalkeeper Casey Lester to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Brannagh Rogers notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Drumlish's Casey Lester. Casey Lester was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aengus Callaghan struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Casey Lester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilcronan FC. If Brannagh Rogers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Drumlish's goalkeeper Casey Lester, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kilcronan FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
