Baltyboys AFC's Sherlock Ferguson got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sherlock Ferguson struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Quaid McJon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baltyboys AFC. 22 minutes into the match, Sherlock Ferguson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Quaid McJon, 1-0. Quaid McJon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terence McFrancise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sherlock Ferguson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Quaid McJon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Baltyboys AFC booed when Gormanstown AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braedon Savic didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sherlock Ferguson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quaid McJon having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, Baltyboys AFC's Sherlock Ferguson made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quaid McJon was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 41st minute, Baydan McCollion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gormanstown AFC's Braedon Savic got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baltyboys AFC's Branagain Doherty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baydan McCollion in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baydan McCollion made a kick off. Bel Todd struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Branagain Doherty didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gormanstown AFC. Quaid McJon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terence McFrancise in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Gormanstown AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Terence McFrancise came free, but Quaid McJon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baltyboys AFC's Branagain Doherty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bel Todd in the 61st minute of play. After some careless play in the Baltyboys AFC defense, Baydan McCollion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Branagain Doherty. The Baltyboys AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Branagain Doherty should have stopped the shot. Bel Todd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Terence McFrancise recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Gormanstown AFC's Baydan McCollion got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Bercan Cooney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quaid McJon having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Sherlock Ferguson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baltyboys AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sherlock Ferguson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blaire McStephen's late challenge caught a Baltyboys AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blaire McStephen helped the player get up and apologised. Blaire McStephen hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gormanstown AFC's goalkeeper Quaid McJon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gormanstown AFC's Piers Ryan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Baltyboys AFC booed when Gormanstown AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piers Ryan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lewy Dempsey, 95 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Baltyboys AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
