Rinmore AFC's Brian Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terence McFrancise in the 2nd minute of play. Rinmore AFC's Hugh Deans suffered a sore knee after 4 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 4 minutes, Garrett Tracy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baltyboys AFC and the Rinmore AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brannan McWill placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Alfred McMichel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Branagain Doherty made a huge save. If Sherlock Ferguson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Terence McFrancise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Palmer having to interfere. Terence McFrancise scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brian Palmer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brian Palmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terence McFrancise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bercan Cooney fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Baltyboys AFC's protests and gave Bercan Cooney a yellow card for diving instead. Bercan Cooney hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half Baltyboys AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Brian Palmer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terence McFrancise, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 55th minute, Terence McFrancise made a precise shot to the right of Brian Palmer. Rinmore AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Terence McFrancise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltyboys AFC's Lewy Dempsey was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Brian Palmer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 66 minutes into the match, Rinmore AFC's goalkeeper Brian Palmer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sherlock Ferguson. A collision led to Rinmore AFC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Reagan Ryan hit a great ball. Terence McFrancise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltyboys AFC's Sherlock Ferguson got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rinmore AFC's Brian Palmer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terence McFrancise in the 82nd minute of play. Terence McFrancise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Brian Palmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Terence McFrancise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Rinmore AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Baltyboys AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
