Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Drumgowan Ut's Herich Sheridan got a free kick in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Drumgowan Ut's goal looked a bit too open when Dugan McDonald came free, but Theodore Rutherford reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Herich Sheridan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Bow Colwell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute Fionntán Benson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bow Colwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bow Colwell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fionntán Benson went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dugan McDonald in the 24th minute of play forced Drumgowan Ut's goalkeeper Theodore Rutherford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herich Sheridan took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bow Colwell. Bow Colwell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Herich Sheridan might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bow Colwell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herich Sheridan ran back to his position shaking his head. Bartel McStephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bow Colwell having to interfere. The supporters of Drumgowan Ut booed when Kilronan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brenan Caffrey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kilronan's attentive Brin McLiam managed to snatch the ball when Bartel McStephen made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. If Dugan McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Theodore Rutherford took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dugan McDonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dugan McDonald to strike the kick off in the second half. Herich Sheridan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bow Colwell having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Donagh McLaughlin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drumgowan Ut's supporters rose to their feet, but Donagh McLaughlin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bow Colwell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the match, Drumgowan Ut's goalkeeper Theodore Rutherford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dugan McDonald. After 60 minutes, Fionntán Benson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Drumgowan Ut and the Kilronan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fionntán Benson struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Bow Colwell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drumgowan Ut. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dugan McDonald in the 76th minute of play forced Drumgowan Ut's goalkeeper Theodore Rutherford to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartel McStephen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bow Colwell having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Fionntán Benson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Drumgowan Ut fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. A throw-in in the 88th minute of the game was made by Brin McLiam with Brenan Caffrey as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 92nd match minute, Kilronan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brin McLiam to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the match, Kilronan's goal looked a bit too open when Fionntán Benson came free, but Bow Colwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fionntán Benson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that Drumgowan Ut were the better team. Drumgowan Ut's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
