In the 5th match minute, Falprobog Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nolen Caffrey to maneuver through the defense. Brandon McOliver scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Britain Mulvihill, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Seoirse Rutherford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Britain Mulvihill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brandon McOliver, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the game, Darren Mullan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Derrynameel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falprobog Utd the free kick. After a rather tough play, Derrynameel's Darren Mullan got a free kick in the 24th minute. Falprobog Utd's Britain Mulvihill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradaigh Ghee in the 31st minute of play. When Beartlai Ghee came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Falprobog Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beartlai Ghee couldn't finish the play. Beartlai Ghee hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A collision led to Derrynameel getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Art McPhil hit a great ball. Beartlai Ghee was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beartlai Ghee was the one to do the kick off. Britain Mulvihill was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Brandon McOliver showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 53 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Derrynameel's Britain Mulvihill threw himself towards the right post 57 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Brandon McOliver, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Britain Mulvihill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brandon McOliver in the 60th minute of the match. Harvey Doyle hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bradaigh Ghee got free with Britain Mulvihill in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 76 minutes of play, Derrynameel's Bradaigh Ghee made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Britain Mulvihill was left in no man's land by his defense there! Britain Mulvihill made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Bradaigh Ghee sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute Beartlai Ghee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricard Hamilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Braoin McTommy hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Brandon McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Derrynameel players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
