Dennis McCready didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Bow McJames shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bairre McNamara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rockmills were furious when Donegan Duggan was red carded, 15 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Rockmills's Donegan Duggan got a free kick in the 16th minute. Rodolfo Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Rockmills getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Bow McJames hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Louie Savic kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bodibeua Glen Crowe. That made the score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. If Ailill Martyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rockmills's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Louie Savic scored to the left of an out of position Bodibeua Glen Crowe, making the score, 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pearse McPhil during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Rockmills's Pearse McPhil got a free kick in the 37th minute. Desert Roses™'s Rodolfo Valerio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rockmills. A collision led to Rockmills getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Dennis McCready hit a great ball. In the 40th minute, Rodolfo Valerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bodibeua Glen Crowe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louie Savic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gealan McWill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Bairre McNamara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Louie Savic was the one to do the kick off. Gealan McWill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Bairre McNamara made a huge save. In the 56th minute, Rockmills's Coran McVictor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bairre McNamara. Bairre McNamara yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Bodibeua Glen Crowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Valerio in the 61st minute of play. Bodibeua Glen Crowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aodh Callaghan in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Louie Savic made a precise shot to the right of Bodibeua Glen Crowe. Rockmills's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 69 minutes into the match, Rockmills's Coran McVictor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bairre McNamara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 71 minutes into the match, Louie Savic had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bodibeua Glen Crowe. Rockmills's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Louie Savic was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Rockmills's Bodibeua Glen Crowe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Valerio in the 76th minute of play. Bodibeua Glen Crowe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louie Savic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bodibeua Glen Crowe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ailill Martyn in the 79th minute of play. Gealan McWill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Bairre McNamara made a huge save. When Coran McVictor came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Rockmills fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Coran McVictor couldn't finish the play. Coran McVictor kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Dennis McCready hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Rockmills's goal looked a bit too open when Ailill Martyn came free, but Bodibeua Glen Crowe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bebhinn Crowe kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Desert Roses™ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
