Seating: 1760, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rowley Hutton kicked off to start the match. After 3rd play minutes Louie Crowe shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Coileán Jameson and just under the crossbar into goal. Licketstown's Louie Crowe got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Anablaha got a freekick which was hit by Rownun O'Down. 24 minutes into the match, Rowley Hutton notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Anablaha's Coileán Jameson. Coileán Jameson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Beehan Ferguson had several of the Licketstown's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Bel McAaron as he didn't even see the shot coming. Berke Hutton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bel McAaron having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Licketstown's zone, Berke Hutton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bel McAaron came out of the goal and Berke Hutton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beehan Ferguson to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Anablaha's goal looked a bit too open when Keelin Dimson came free, but Coileán Jameson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anablaha's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Louie Crowe scored to the left of an out of position Coileán Jameson, making the score, 2-3. Berke Hutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Bel McAaron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Louie Crowe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bowen Molloy during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Anablaha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bowen Molloy to maneuver through the defense. If Louie Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rowley Hutton had several of the Anablaha's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-4 score and a disappointed Coileán Jameson as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 72 played minutes Anablaha got a freekick which was hit by Bradon Walker. Louie Crowe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Coileán Jameson made a huge save. In the 78th match minute, Anablaha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Babe Grant to maneuver through the defense. Louie Crowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Coileán Jameson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Rowley Hutton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Licketstown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rowley Hutton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Licketstown's goal looked a bit too open when Beehan Ferguson came free, but Bel McAaron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Licketstown's zone, Berke Hutton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bel McAaron came out of the goal and Berke Hutton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bel McAaron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beehan Ferguson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Keelin Dimson during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd minute Berke Hutton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bel McAaron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beehan Ferguson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Bel McAaron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Licketstown players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
