Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Shea Doherty got the match started through his kick off. Herygh Colwell hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Turlough Morrison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballaghkeen's supporters rose to their feet, but Turlough Morrison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bin McLaughlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th match minute, Cronery was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brogan Morrison to maneuver through the defense. Cronery's Bin McLaughlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turlough Morrison in the 16th minute of play. Aodh McSteve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevinn McLian having to interfere. Shea Doherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Kevinn McLian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 minutes, Harry Benson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballaghkeen and the Cronery players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Harry Benson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shea Doherty in the 25th minute of play forced Ballaghkeen's goalkeeper Kevinn McLian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Shea Doherty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cronery's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballaghkeen the free kick. After 27 played minutes Cronery got a freekick which was hit by Shea Doherty. When Ballaghkeen's Turlough Morrison in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cronery's goalie prevented a goal. Brennen Glen Crowe kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Turlough Morrison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cronery's Shea Doherty got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 44 minutes into the game, Scott Frankson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballaghkeen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cronery the free kick. Scott Frankson kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Britain Murphy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bin McLaughlin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Turlough Morrison to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Herygh Colwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Britain Murphy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bin McLaughlin having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Cronery's Herygh Colwell got a free kick in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Cronery's goal looked a bit too open when Turlough Morrison came free, but Bin McLaughlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevinn McLian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shea Doherty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Shea Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Turlough Morrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Britain Murphy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bin McLaughlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cronery's Bin McLaughlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turlough Morrison in the 85th minute of play. If Turlough Morrison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Britain Murphy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th minute, Aodh McSteve ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevinn McLian was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.
