Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Louie Savic started the match with the kick off. Aodh Callaghan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th match minute, Desert Roses™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ailill Martyn to maneuver through the defense. Dugan McDonald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bairre McNamara having to make a save. In the 16th minute, Dugan McDonald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 21st minute, Dugan McBrand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes Kilronan got a freekick which was hit by Patraic Caffrey. In the 24th minute of the match Rodolfo Valerio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bow Colwell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 25th match minute, Kilronan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dugan McDonald to maneuver through the defense. Bow Colwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aodh Callaghan, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Desert Roses™'s Pat Willson got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Kilronan booed when Desert Roses™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ultan Grant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dugan McDonald hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Bairre McNamara came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Kilronan's Brenan Caffrey. But to his dismay, Brenan Caffrey quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Desert Roses™ booed when Kilronan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dugan McBrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dugan McDonald made a kick off. Bow Colwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louie Savic, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Rodolfo Valerio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bow Colwell having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Desert Roses™'s Pat Willson got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 64th minute of the match Rodolfo Valerio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bow Colwell skillfully saved the ball. Louie Savic took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bow Colwell. Bow Colwell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 71st match minute, Kilronan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dugan McDonald to maneuver through the defense. Louie Savic didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 73rd minute. Desert Roses™'s supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 79 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Valerio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Bow Colwell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Kilronan booed when Desert Roses™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aodh Callaghan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th match minute, Desert Roses™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Louie Savic to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Desert Roses™ getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Rodolfo Valerio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brenan Caffrey in the 88th minute of play forced Desert Roses™'s goalkeeper Bairre McNamara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Louie Savic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bow Colwell having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kilronan's Torran Palmer got a free kick in the 97th minute. Desert Roses™'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
